TO CREATE AN INCLUSIVE AND PROGRESSIVE OFFICE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE STAFF AT RMIT

THE RESPONSE

AN Iinvigorating and collaborative design utilising curves, inspired by the history of the historical architecture of the Women's Centre, to create a sweeping flow that prevents the
'dust from settling' Paying tribute to the rich history of the site, the colour palette shows a soft version of the red brick and historical elements of the Woman's centre juxtaposed with the grey and neutral colour palette representing the surrounding new build Greens and blues signify collaborative spaces, linking to the external green areas and iconic bluestone of Melbourne Colour blocking and repeated forms create harmony and continuity through the design and provide an integrated way-finding system that makes the design immediately usable and satisfying
